Greetings Oriskany Residents,
The Village of Oriskany will soon be changing trash haulers from Bliss Environmental to Controlled Waste Systems, Inc. (CWSI). There is no change to trash pick-up day or bulk trash stickers.
Bliss Environmental will complete their last pick up on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Pink and blue carts will be collected the same day. Please put your carts out early on Memorial Day. Once your carts are at the curb, do not bring them in. A worker from Bliss Environmental may arrive early to remove the wheels from your carts.
CWSI will deliver your new carts on June 2 or 3. We appreciate your patience as they deliver them. Most residents will receive the same, standard 64 gallon carts. Multiplexes and businesses may receive a combination of smaller and larger carts based on occupancy. If your building’s occupancy has changed or you have a question about your cart size, please contact the village office at 315-736-3512.
